WIthout a doubt our lovely and loveable horses are the centre of the Slickers Horseriding universe.
We have approximately 85 horses at each property. They enjoy a relaxed lifestyle to say the least.
Many Varieties. We have horses of every different colour, size and breed. For repeat customers, you may request to ride your favourite horse and we will do everything possible to match you up.

Family Units. The horses are free to roam the property after the working day is finished. They typically will retire to their favourite hill or valley with their family unit of say 4 to 6 horses. The ‘family’ is close but not as close as each horses particular ‘friend’.
They look out for their friends and display affection to them
Roundup and Feeding. Horses are rounded up in the mornings to come in for a feed. They are hand fed every day and during periods of extended dry weather, when the natural pasture reduces.
They are free to graze when not in work. After a trail ride they are washed down and fed again.
